Tim was so good for my operation, I was really nervous and he talked me through everything and every step he was going to do. He came to see me when I was awake and let me know how the operation went and when he would be seeing me next, the follow up appointments were great and he was happy with how it was healing. I had a couple worries whilst healing, so I phoned and he fitted me in that day to take a look (everything was fine).
My final appointment was good and I was really happy with the results and outcome of my operation. Really recommend!!

Mr Biggs performed septorhinoplasty on me in April 2024, which has been a huge success and I can now breathe through my nose properly. I have had 2 post operative appointments to ensure all is well. I have the option to contact the ENT department should I need any further help. Mr Biggs is a caring and very approachable person and I cannot fault him or the service I received.
I can not be more grateful for all support the surgeon (Tim Biggs) did for me. I had been questioning surgery since I was first offered it as an adult (19 years old, as my parents declined it on my behalf as a child due to bones not being fully formed yet). I had the surgery done when I was 31. Tim came across as a non judgmental and trustworthy person so I accepted to have my rhinoplasty. This has truly changed my life, physically and mentally. He was accepting of my family being with me during appointments for support which was encouraging for me. The surgery ended up being a bit more difficult than imagined due to nose being so badly broken before, and the end result has showed how Tim worked hard during surgery to give me the best possible outcome. I was surprised at how quickly I was seen and how well the operation went with little pain and discomfort after the procedure. The instructions were clear after surgery and the care was fantastic given all the issues that the nhs has right now. My nose feels so much better now after 30 years of issues.

I visited Mr Timothy Biggs for a consultation on my broken nose after falling down the stairs at home. My nose had bent to one side and I had trouble breathing which was affecting my quality of life. Mr Biggs carried out a Rhinoplasty to straighten my nose and inserted a titanium implant to open up my nostrils. I am delighted with the results and can now breathe normally which has improved my sleeping which in turn has improved my quality of life. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Biggs.
I was under the care of Mr. Timothy Biggs for a Potts Puffy Tumour in November 2023. Throughout my time in hospital he was caring and understanding, he explained everything about my condition and subsequent operations, which put me at ease and was very reassuring. During my follow-up appointments he listened to what I had to say and answered any questions I had in a detailed and caring manner. His treatment of patients is second to none and is reflected in the members of his team who follow his example. I cannot speak highly enough of him and would have no concern about being treated by him in the future.
I am extremely grateful to Mr Tim Biggs for his thoughtful understanding of my sinus condition which had caused me such sleepless nights and severe headaches for well over a year. The frontal sinus operation carried out by Mr Biggs and his team was a complete success . I was at last able to sleep through the night and breathe through my nose. Tim had recently carried out a Rhinoplasty on myself. From the initial appointment he had listened to my concerns about my nose and straight away he was able to advise what was needed to be able to rectify the issues i had. He was honest about the procedure and made me feel very comfortable (as i suffer with PTSD from past medical trauma). The surgery was carried out quickly, my nose is still healing as it has only been a month since the procedure however it is all healing very well from what i can see. Tim had a follow up appointment after my surgery to take the cast off my nose and had checked to see if it was healing okay. He was happy with the results which is comforting to hear from a trained professional. I am also very happy with the results and cannot wait to be able to breath properly.
I would 100% recommend Tim to anyone requiring the same surgery. It is very comforting to have someone listen to the issues you are experiencing and know how to rectify them in the best way possible straight away.
I found Tim to be informative on everything he finds on his consultations with the patient, and after the operations I have had Tim has always seen me after in the recovery room to make sure I'm ok.

Putting the one year wait to one side, this was one of the best NHS experiences I have and that comes from someone described as difficult and demanding!
He was very clear on what was going to happen, and I am really happy with the results!
Right I'll start of how it started. At the age of 8 I had a bad accident that ended up spreading my septum from my face; all the cartilage dissolved resulting in my nose sagging to one side and completely blocking my right nostril, which left me with a tiny passage that I could barely sneeze through. I met Tim Biggs at Portsmouth hospital when I was 27, as I'd had re occurring sinusitis and bad hay fever. A few visits went past, with lots of help and reassurance on the procedure I was going to have to fix my nose, with part of a rib bone and cartilage being used. It went perfect and I couldn't of asked for better care from Dr Tim Biggs from start to finish. It was amazing I'm am glad to have met him. I would recommend to anyone and couldn't praise him enough on the amazing job he has done. Many thanks and kind regards!

It was over 2 years since my original meeting with an NHS surgeon before my actual operation, so although I made some notes at that time, I didn't remember all the details of what was going to happen on the day. Mr Biggs was very patient and warm, explaining the procedure and answering all my questions.
The actual operation seems to have gone very well and I'm most of the way through the main part of my recovery. The whole surgical team were great throughout my time in the hospital. Although my follow-up had to be with a different surgeon due to some annual leave, I look forward to seeing Mr Biggs again in my 6 month check-up.
Excellent care from start to finish. The first consultation put my mind at ease and gave me plenty of time to ask question or share concerns, which then gave me the confidence and trust for the upcoming procedure. Could not ask for better care, Tim took the time to understand my issues and recommended options that would make my life easier day to day. This resulted in me getting a great looking nose, but more importantly the best night sleep i have had in years.
My son recently had sinuplasty / rhinoplasty surgery with Mr Biggs. In the 2 consultations we had leading up to the surgery, Mr Biggs was extremely informative & reassuring.
On the day of the procedure Mr Biggs & the other members of his team showed nothing but kindness reassurance & professionalism. The after care was advised & adhered to & despite my son looking quite uncomfortable for a couple of days ( as to be expected ), it settled equally as quickly as it came and by day 4/5 we were definitely over the worse. 2 weeks later having met with Mr Biggs to remove the splint we were thrilled with the result !! My son can breathe & his nose is straight.

I had a great experience with Mr Biggs as my surgeon. I was very nervous before my operation and he was really good at reassuring me and telling me in detail what I was having done. He told me what I could expect and what the aftercare would be like. He also told me the risks with the surgery but he was very reassuring saying that they were not likely. He was very kind and put my mind at rest with any worries I had. When I had had my operation he came to visit me in the recovery ward and he told me that the surgery went really well and showed me the results. He said that if I had any worries or concerns that I would be able to contact him. After a week I came back to get my cast off and he was very helpful with any questions I had and wished me well with my further recovery. I would really recommend Mr Biggs as he is very trusting and compassionate. He did an amazing job with my nose and I’m really pleased with the results. I am able to breathe a lot better than before and the scars are barely visible. He has given me lots of confidence.
Mr Biggs explained the procedure to me and took time to ensure my full understanding. I was left entirely comfortable in all respects. I was given full and detailed instructions about post -op self care and as far as I know the op was very successful.

I had Rhinophyma distorting my nose which wasn't a pleasant sight, Mr Biggs removed the distortion leaving a normal looking nose.
For 3 years i ve been affected at least every 2 months by things like: cold, chest infection, sorethroat, flu, constant congestion and other problems.
A surgery was required, it went as the doctor explained, i followed his instrutions, and for the last 6 months i didnt experience any problems anymore, i finally feel really well and healty.
It seems my problem has been fixed and my health improved.
In my case i couldnt expect any better, so i dont have any suggestions to give.
Best ENT ive ever had. He actually listens to me. Hasn't taken me off his patient list just because my surgery has been done. He is the first consultant to agree with me that i also needed a septoplasty as well as polypectomy. His surgery has restored my sense of smell after over a decade (even my last polypectomy didn't help my sense of smell). I find him to be kind and respectful at all appointments and I can't thank him enough for all his help.
I've seen so many consultants and doctors over 10-12 years about my nose and used so many types of medication and various diagnosis including being allergic to trees. I met Tim for a consultancy on a Sunday at QA and although the meeting was brief, he was confident in his diagnosis, the work that needed to be carried out and the end result. I left feeling so much better and hopeful.
I was lucky enough to get an earlier op due to a cancellation and the team were great. I felt at ease. Tim spoke to me and went through the procedure and and I felt so hopeful. The Op was done and I was sat on a ward in recovery when Tim popped by to have a chat about the procedure and how it went. This was brilliant.
I can confirm that so far, the op has worked. I've not had a problem since. Even when I had a cold my nose blocked but quickly went back to normal after a day or so.
